Complex and innovative engineering services - high-value and customer-oriented, all from one hand - this affirmation forms the core of the GICON company concept.  Since our founding in 1994, we have succeeded in implementing this concept on a step-by-step basis.  

We recognize that we are an innovative engineering service provider, one that takes part in decision-making on the basis of an interdiscinplinary team, both according to the best available technology and advice as well as through research and subsequent development of state-of-the-art technology in each department.

Since 1994, GICON has grown into a nationally-respected consulting firm.  From its beginnings in Saxony, GICON has broadened its area of operation into most regions of Germany, as well as several foreign markets.  Today, we are an internationally active consulting and engineerign firm with approximately 300 employees and 150 freelancers which can render services in several languages and according to the corresponding national standards for its international customers.  

Sustainable use of resources, of energy, and of the extraction of raw materials, as well as the responsible mitigation of risks in aid of a clean environment and a livable society - both today and in the future - based on these guidelines, our daily work is oriented and our service to the customer is conceived.

Innovation through research is a trademark of GICON.  Both as service provider for our customers and for the further development of the firm, we research and develop new processes, products, and services.  To that end, we have created an extensive network of collaborative relationships with leading research institutions.

The GICON concept is supported by independantly-acting staff with corresponding freedom in the configuration of their activities.  Only through the joy of innovation, devotedness, and the expert knowledge of each individual was our successful development to this point possible.  And on this concept we will develop in the future.
