Quality Management

This year’s recertification of our QM system was successfully completed in March, 2009.  At the same time, the challenges with regard to the implementation of the new DIN ISO EN 9001:2008 requirements were mastered, so that the three-year certificate can already be displayed with the new requirements, which have only been standard for a few months.  As part of the audit, the new GICON offices as well as the integration of GICON locations were likewise assessed.  The technical prerequisites that have been accomplished in last few months, such as the replacement of the complete server structure or the introduction of a centrally-administrated antivirus system were consistently assessed in a positive manner, indicating that the data processing structure at GICON is state-of-the-art.  The newly handed-over certificate is valid for all departments and all offices.

For the future, one focal point of quality assurance at GICON which will henceforth be emphasized, with respect to our collaboration with subcontractors, is the assessment of the provision of quality and timely services.
