2009 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern BWK Environmental Prize goes to GICON employee Cindy Dengler

Environmental prize for excellence in Diplom (graduate) work

This year, for only the second time, the Association of Engineers for Water Management, Waste Management, and Land Improvement, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Regional Association, awarded an environmental prize.  This national commendation is awarded to students of colleges and universities for excellent work in the environmental field.

This distinction was received this year by Cindy Dengler, Dipl. Engineering, from the GICON Rostock office.  Her Diplom thesis, entitled “Investigations into possible combinations of coastal protection structures and geothermal energy plants” was selected as the prize winner.  Her diplom work was inspired and supervised by GICON office manager Burkhard Schuldt.     

 

 

Frau Dengler hat ihr Studium für Landeskultur und Umweltschutz Abfallwirtschaft mit Vertiefung in den Bereichen Naturschutz- und Umweltökonomie an der Universität in Rostock im April 2009 mit Note „1“ abgeschlossen.

 

Frau Dengler ist bereits seit April 2008 für GICON tätig - zuerst über ein Praktikum, später als studentische Hilfskraft und seit Mai 2009 als Projektingenieurin in der Rostocker Niederlassung der GICON.
