Presentation at the 2nd CEO Forum "Growth Drivers for Korea"

GICON provides information on sustainable energy use

As part of the 2nd CEO Forum, entitled “Growth Drivers for Korea” in Seoul, South Korea on Nov. 18^th, the possibilities for sustainable energy use were presented by representatives of GICON.  The theme of the presentation was “Green Technology in Germany and Potential in Korea”.  

Approximately 400 invited guests from business and political sectors followed the remarks together with sponsor Manee Lee, the Minster of the Environment for Korea.  GICON provided information on aspects of energy generation from renewable resources as well as possibilities for a modern waste management strategy in Korea, with the assistance of biogas plants.

The speech was given by Dr. J.H.N. Zinsmeister as GICON’s consultant in Korea.  Assistance with the Korean language was provided by Engineering Prof. Gieung Kim.

An overview of the two-stage patented GICON biogas process was specially highlighted, along with current research results on the use of various feedstocks in biogas plants, in particular market and urban wastes.

The remarks were met with great interest.  Through this presentation, GICON was able to introduce and promote a potential business partnership in the biogas plant sector in the Asian market.
