GICON is exhibitor at the Biogas - Expo & Convention

Convention and Trade Show on 22-23 October, 2009, in Offenburg

GICON will be on display at the Biogas Expo & Convention on 22-23 October, 2009, in Offenburg (Stand 32).

The heightened demand for renewable energies and in particular for biogas technology in several fields is leading to considerable interest in this event.  The trade show centers on trade visitors from Germany, France, Switzerland, and the Benelux countries.  Within the framework of the Biogas Expo and Convention, two parallel congresses are being given, each broken down into thematic blocks.

The initial convention last year saw approximately 900 participants and visitors from eight countries take part.

GICON is exhibiting its range of services in the field of bioenergy.  This includes:

  • the professional, customer-oriented project development and planning of biogas plants
  • extensive research and development work for the optimization and enhancement of the efficiency of biogas processes
  • the delivery of complete biogas plants through GICON Bioenergie GmbH

A main focus is the presentation of the GICON Biogas process, a two-stage, dry-wet fermentation with split hydrolysis.  This process is an independent development, which arose from cooperation with the Brandenburg Technical University, Cottbus.  The process is patented worldwide.

The advantages of the GICON process lie, among other things, in the very high process stability, a high flexibility across applicable substrates including robustness against impurities, low own-energy requirements, the controllability of the biogas production, high methane content in the biogas, and a compact plant size.  Additional information about the process can be obtained from our GICON Bioenergie brochure, which can be downloaded from our website.

We look forward to meeting you at Stand 32 at the Biogas Expo in Offenburg.
