GICON concludes cooperative agreement with College in Shenzhen, China
New technologies and renewable energies should frame chinese economic growth in a corporately responsible manner.
The rapid growth of the Chinese economy and the associated requirements for energy and resources inevitably comes with considerable environmental pollution and presents extreme challenges to scientists and engineers. The extensive use of coal also comes with significant problems in the area of air pollution.
For these reasons, the municipal government in Shenzhen has committed to the use of renewable energy and the sustainable use of natural resources. For this, advanced international know-how will be attained and put into use. However, for an effective and site-adapted application, research and development needs still exist. For the purpose of collaborative research and development work, a cooperative agreement was completed between Shenzhen & Hong Kong Science Research Base, G-Tech Environmental Holdings from Shenzhen, and GICON. The partners will be engaged in a long-term collaboration guided by cooperation in the fields of renewable energies, and air and water pollution and purification. The goal of the cooperation is, among other things, the step-by-step implementation of a standardized environmental management system.
