Department: Biogas Plants

Focus of work in the Department of Biogas Plants is the large-scale implementation of innovative, GICON-planned and -developed biogas processes in plant construction projects. As an interface between the owner and supplier for construction and process engineering, the department undertakes GC activities for project implementation, in particular costing, purchasing, and contract/project management. Through close interaction with our planning capabilities in the Departments of HSAD and Wet Fermentation, GICON provides the scope of work of a general contractor.

In order to shape technological development and innovation so that it meets the demands of the client yet is commercially feasible, an active exchange between R & D, planning and praxis is required. GICON brings these three pillars in the biogas technology sector together under one roof, and thus can efficiently incorporate market signals into our own R & D activities, implement the developed solutions in our planning and contribute innovative system concepts back to the market.
