GICON® now a member of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA)
Focus on mutual exchange and cooperation in the field of biomass production and use
About one year after GICON® successfully commissioning the world's first GICON® octagon photobioreactor at the Cottbus site, we are taking the next step and have joined the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA). The aim of the EABA is to promote mutual exchange and cooperation related to the production and use of algae biomass material, including the use of algae for biofuels and all other applications. Another main objective is to stimulate the development of research, technology and industrial capacity in the field of algae, which is achieved by creating synergies between scientists, industry and decision-makers. In addition, close links will be developed between members in order to promote common interests at European and international Level.
