Samsung C&T Deutschland GmbH and GICON® cooperate on ground-mounted photovoltaic systems
On Tuesday (16 April), GICON®-Großmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH and Samsung C&T Deutschland GmbH signed a cooperation agreement for the development of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems. The signing took place at GICON® headquarters in Dresden. Both partners intend to jointly plan and develop ground-mounted photovoltaic systems in Germany in the future.
Leveraging its global presence stretched over 70 overseas offices in 40 countries, Samsung C&T is a committed value creator involved in trading key industrial commodities in the fields of chemicals, steel, and industrial materials, and constantly develops new businesses in renewable energy, battery recycling, hydrogen, etc.
GICON® to provide complete planning services
In addition to communication with the authorities, the contract also includes transparent project development at a municipal level and early discussions with citizens, landowners and land users to assess the fundamental feasibility of projects. GICON® will take on this role on behalf of Samsung. As a company based in Germany, GICON® has been driving forward the energy transition for many years and developing projects in the field of renewable energies (photovoltaics, wind and bioenergy) as pioneers of a future worth living. The engineers are therefore very familiar with the official requirements for approval planning. The current contract with Samsung stipulates that GICON® will take over the complete planning services. This includes construction management, approval, design and implementation planning as well as construction supervision.
