With his appointment as Federico II Visiting Professor by Rector Prof. Matteo Lorito, GICON CEO Prof. Jochen Großmann has delivered his inaugural lecture at the Polytechnic and Applied Science School. As part of the “Department of Excellence” project oft he Dept. of Industrial Engineering, the lecture series is held under the title “From Research to Innovation – a challenging route from research to market.”

Auf der Baustelle der höchsten Windenergieanlage der Welt beginnt eine neue Phase: die Hochbauarbeiten am GICON®-Höhenwindturm (GICON®-HWT). Mit einer geplanten Gesamthöhe von 365 Metern wird er das zweithöchste Bauwerk Deutschlands sein – und mit seiner Nabenhöhe von 300 Metern die höchste Windenergieanlage weltweit.

GICON® will design and, together with its partner, construct Malaysia’s first fully integrated ecological hybrid power plant for the Malaysian company Semarak Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (Semarak RE). In doing so, GICON® can leverage its strengths as a full-service provider in line with its motto – Engineering the Future.
